Today I offer a prayer for loving and extending grace to others. I sometimes find myself frustrated with some people, and I need all the support the Holy Spirit will give me. Maybe you have a similar experience.
Father God, our Glorious and Most High Lord, holy, holy, holy, is Your name. Father, You command us to love one another, just as You have loved us. With Your guidance we seek to love others earnestly, for love covers a multitude of sins. If someone strikes us on the cheek, or steals from us, may we not hold it against them. Thank You for forgiving us in Christ, and encouraging us to extend that same tenderhearted forgiveness to others. May we also learn not to judge or condemn others, but practice generous forgiveness. When we pray please remind us to forgive others, anything we have against them, so that You may also forgive us. We wish to love those who require extra grace, and do good to those who oppose us, for this is pleasing to You. May we love everyone as a friend and a sibling, from this day forward, forever and ever, amen.
