Today I offer a prayer for help. I often find myself (out of pride) thinking “I can do it all on my own”. The truth is, God designed us to be dependent on Him, and His people. Let’s humble our hearts and acknowledge the way God made us.
Father God, our Glorious and Gracious Lord, You are mighty and generous in Your ways. Please help us to acknowledge that all of our support comes from You, the maker of heaven and earth. You hear our cries for help, and our pleas for mercy. Our hearts are grateful that You are our strength and shield, and in You we can trust. You promise that whatever we ask in Jesus’ name He will do for us, so that You may be glorified through us and Him. If we ask – Your Spirit will be given to us, if we seek – we will find You, and if we knock – You will open Your door to us. We can cast all of our fears, doubts, and worries upon You because You are our caregiver. We do not need to fear our lack of wisdom or strength, for You are with us to provide strength and help in the midst of all circumstances. We trust in You, knowing that You will hear anything we ask in accordance with Your, and and You will grant our request, so that You may be glorified through us. We honor, praise, seek and glorify You, forever and ever, amen.
