As I take a moment to contemplate where to continue our journey through the scriptures, I find myself praying for guidance and discernment.
Father God, our Glorious Lord and Loving King, Your kindness and grace know no bounds. Thank you for Your indwelling Spirit within Your servants, that gives us understanding so we may know Your ways and words. Please instruct us and teach us in the ways we should go, counselling us with Your eye upon us. You are the God of our salvation, and we wait for You all the day long. Spirit please guide us in all the truth, speaking from the Father’s authority, declaring to us His will for our lives. Father You promise to guide us continually, satisfying our desires in scorched places and making our bones strong; You are an unfailing spring of living water, refreshing us like gardens in need of rain. When we ask for wisdom in faith without doubting, You give it in abundance and without reproach. Because of Your good, acceptable and perfect will You can transform and renew our minds to be discerning and in alignment with You. May your love abound in and through us more and more, with all knowledge and discernment, so we may approve what is excellent, remaining pure and blameless for the day of Christ, forever and ever, amen.
