Father God, our gracious and merciful King, holy is Your name. Please teach us to be still and patient in Your presence, so we may truly know You, and exalt You over all of the earth. We wait on You alone Father, for You renew our strength of body and soul, keeping us from growing weary and fainting. For when we rest in You, being quiet and still, we are saved and strengthened. You keep us in perfect peace when we keep our minds and trust rooted in You. We will not fear or be dismayed for You are our God and uphold us with Your righteous right hand. Because You O Lord are with us, and Your love is great, the peace of Christ rules in our hearts at all times in every way. We abound in hope, peace, and joy, which surpasses all understanding, because you guard our hearts and minds in Christ Jesus, forever and ever, amen.
